02 TAMBOUR DOOR CABINET05/2025
Pine Croft school of Woodworking
// Berea College
Berea, Kentucky
In May I took a 6-hour overnight Greyhound bus from Chicago to Berea, Kentucky-- a small town in the appalacian mountains. I had the opportunity to attend two classes at the Woodworking School at Pine Croft, a craft school run by Berea College. Over the course of a 7-day class, I learned how to build tambour door cabinets under the guidance of educator and master craftswoman Larissa Huff.
This is an overview of the process and the results of the work I created during that week
